1 cup thinly sliced onions
1 cup thinly sliced carrots
1 cup thinly sliced daikon radish
4 cups broccoli florets
4 cups cauliflower florets
2 cups finely chopped cabbage
2T. sesame seeds, for garnish
1 T. toasted sesame oil
2 T. tamari or soy sauce
1 T. brown rice vinegar
Steam vegetables about 5 minutes then plunge into cold water and then drain well. Transfer to a serving bowl and set aside.
Roast sesame seeds in a small skillet for about 5 minutes.
Then, combine sauce ingredients in a small bowl. Pour over vegetables and toss. Sprinkle with seeds and serve.
Makes 8 servings about 115 calories, 4 gm of fat, 0 cholesterol per serving.
